This cute and excellently maintained semi-detached home will delight everyone! In 2020, a new luxury kitchen was installed, much of the home was re-plastered and new laminate flooring was installed in the three bedrooms and the attic room. GENERAL:
The house is located in a very quiet and child-friendly street near the center of Neerkant. Only local traffic comes through this street. Right around the corner is a nice playground and the elementary school and small supermarket are both within walking distance. At about 12 kilometers there are several high schools. For weekly shopping you can go to nearby Meijel or Liessel. The entrance to the freeway A67 towards Eindhoven and Venlo is only five minutes by car.
GROUND FLOOR:
ENTREE
The front door is located on the side of the house, halfway down the driveway. You enter the house in the hall where you find the toilet on the left and the meter cupboard with fiberglass connection. Under the stairs is a convenient closet where the distributor of the floor heating is located. The floor consists of dark tiles with underfloor heating throughout the first floor.
LIVING ROOM / KITCHEN / REAR
In 2020 the living room, the kitchen and the rear extension were completely renovated. All rooms were newly plastered, the doors were replaced and a new kitchen was installed. This kitchen consists of a four-burner induction stove, an exhaust hood hidden in a kitchen cabinet, dishwasher, combination oven and refrigerator. The countertop is plastic. Several kitchen cabinets have interior drawers so you can store extra much.
Behind the kitchen is another large extension with double doors. This space is ideal as a playroom for the children or as an additional sitting room with direct contact to the garden. In 2022 the driveway door was replaced with a ceiling-high window and the two windows at the front of the house were also replaced for plastic frames with HR++ glass at that time.
FLOOR:
BEDROOMS
Two of the three bedrooms are generous in size and have enough space for a double bed and a closet. The third bedroom is a smaller room but still an excellent nursery. All bedrooms have one or two tilt-and-turn windows with a screen and the windows at the back of the house have a roller shutter. The laminate flooring in the bedrooms and landing was laid in 2020.
BATHROOM
The bathroom is neutrally decorated with dark floor tiles and light wall tiles. You can choose to shower in the shower stall with glass wall or have a nice bath in the bathtub. The bathroom also has a sink with storage cabinet, a wall toilet and a radiator. A small tilt-and-turn window of milk glass provides necessary ventilation and there is also mechanical ventilation.
ATTIC:
The attic floor is accessible by a fixed staircase and consists of a landing with the white goods connections for both a washing machine and a dryer and the Nefit Topline CV boiler from 2012. In 2018, this boiler was overhauled. On the other side of the landing is a storage room present under the sloping roof.
The bedroom received a new skylight in 2020 with a blackout blind and a new laminate floor. Also in this room, convenient storage spaces have been created under the sloping walls, accessible on both sides with a swinging door.
GARAGE:
The garage can be accessed indoors through the back of the house. The double wooden door gives access to the driveway with carport and there is also an access door to the garden. The garage has a tiled floor and also here are connections for white goods.
GARDEN:
The backyard is beautifully green yet low maintenance landscaped with lawn, some plant borders and three laurel trees that act as espaliers behind the fence to block the view. Because of its south-facing location, you always have plenty of sun in the garden but you can also sit in the shade. On the terrace directly behind the house you can extend the awning and at the back of the garden in 2020 a wooden roof was built with power points and lighting. The garden also has a shed with a corrugated iron roof and an outdoor tap.
